Our website has recently changed in a big way (a good way). After a lot of prayer and conversations we’ve finally changed it to be about our ministry instead of just a shop.
It has been on my heart for years to start a ministry for children who have suffered from abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and trauma and I want to use my skills in crochet to help.
I know from personal experience how lonely it can be to have gone through some of those things as a child and I know the lasting effects it can have throughout childhood. I want to provide a comforting companion to the children who need them: The ones with the broken hearts that don’t understand why they feel and think the way they do. The ones that don’t know who to trust but desperately want someone to turn to. The ones that try to love with all of their heart and hope for someone to love them back.
I understand what that feels like and I don’t want any child who has suffered to feel alone. We want them to understand how much Jesus loves them and how much we love them too. ❤
I remember when I was a child the special times when someone helped me, loved on me, gave me attention, or even just helped me with something small. It wasn’t all the time but those moments still mean the world to me. My hope is to help child survivors, the ones I understand, the best way that I can by sharing my love for them and gifting them a crocheted toy that they can keep with them when they really need a friend.
Starting out we are serving East Texas, specifically Nacogdoches, and the surrounding areas. 🇸🇴🇵🇱 If the Lord moves us to expand we will.
