I made my first Ridge Runt using a furry yarn. It wasn’t the easiest to navigate but was definitely not as hard as I expected it to be. The yarn portion is thinner than what I usually use so it did turn it a little smaller than the usual pups.
Someone recently asked me if I could make a dog that looked like their goldendoodle and this is how it turned out.
This fuzzy yarn makes a really cute animal but it can shed easily. I wouldn’t think it would last nearly as long as the blanket yarn I usually work with and it would probably need to be have wash only. It’s still pretty cute though. I’m not sure I want to make a bunch of those (it was hard to keep track of the stitches) but maybe I can use it more as a trim or for lion manes.
