My husband came home from a short ride on the side-by-side today to share his score of mullein. He found a patch of it growing nearby and brought me six, good sized plants.
I washed them (best I could) outside and am now letting them air dry a little before we hang them up. We’ll keep the leaves and roots separate. I’ll probably make a tincture of both along with a vinegar infusion of the leaves for the kids. The rest will be stored for later use and teas. This mullein haul will be great during the times of year that we get cold and sinus symptoms.
